Cavemen
I want to see more. This was aired on 2007. So I know I’m a bit late for this. Anyway, as per research on Wikipedia, the series was short lived with only one season. The series was put on hold during the Writer’s Guild Of America Strike and was cancelled before the strike ended. What a bummer.
The initial limited screening of the pilot episode was met with a less than favorable reception. The pilot was accused of being racist[13] because some critics thought the Cavemen were being used as a metaphor for blacks and other minorities.[14] The series subsequently underwent a major creative “retooling”, which included changing the show’s venue from Atlanta, Georgia to San Diego, California.[15][16] The pilot episode has remained unaired on ABC.

What Are You Reading Now?

I am currently reading the Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffengger. I heard it’s out in the theaters now and I’ve read good reviews about it. I’m still halfway on the book and I am not disappointed when my sister-in-law asked me to read it since I can’t do much right now. Therefore, I shall not watch the movie until I finish the book.
*UPDATE
When I found out that it’s Eric Bana who plays the role of Henry the time traveler, I couldn’t wait to finish the book and run to the theaters. Why? because when Henry time travels, his clothes don’t travel with him so he appears and disappears naked! That’s really something to look forward to! awwwww…
Rachel McAdams is Clare Abshire, the very understanding time traveler’s wife. I like Rachel but I hope it wouldn’t be like watching The Notebook.
Here’s what Jessica Zafra have to say:
Q. Why does the time traveler Eric Bana lose all his clothes whenever he jumps through time?
A. Because clothes cannot travel through time, a convention established by the Terminator movies. (Why can flesh and bone travel but not fabric? I thought everything was the same at quantum level.)
B. Because it’s in the novel by Audrey Niffenegger. (We haven’t read it, so please enlighten us.)
C. Because it’s Eric Bana, and this is our Low Expectations Movie of the Week

What Are Your Top 5 Favorite Movies?
1. Great Expectations – if you haven’t seen this movie, you are a BIG LOSER! don’t expect me to summarize the story for you. i am very lazy in doing that kind of thing. you google it or go get a copy of this now!

2. What Dreams May Come - i still cry every time i watch this movie. it never fails to bring out the soft side of my schizophrenic nature. you are still a BIG LOSER if you haven’t seen it. I like the concept of death here. It makes us look forward to it as long as you’re sure you’re not going to hell. I like the concept of hell either. A place of anguish instead of a lake of fire and sadistic demons. I like it better than Dante’s.

3. The Godfather 1,2 & 3
- if you’re a guy age 20 and above and still haven’t seen this trilogy, you are a BIG FAT LOSER. you suck and you’re dumb and you’re a loser. a loser! I love Al Pacino when he was younger. My favorite godfather is Marlon Brando. My least favorite part is The Godfather 3. Both the book and film are good.

4. Lord Of The Rings 1,2 & 3
- if you haven’t read the book or at least watched one of the trilogy, YOU SUCK! The best epic fantasy I’ve ever read/watched.

5. My Sassy Girl (Korean Version)
-Please DO NOT watch the English version, it totally ruined everything! The Korean version is the best. They also ruined Shutter when they made an English version of it. American and English versions are too different and it’s a sin to revise Asian films. please don’t be lazy to read the subtitles.

that’s it for now.. i actually have a loooong list.

I heart CHOCOLATES!
If I could choose only one thing on which man's invention I love most, yup.... it would be CHOCOLATES!!! i have been slowing down on my sweets because of my pregnancy and I really really miss eating tons. i found this chocolate blog, and the chocolate pictures makes my mouth water more.. I envy this couple for being able to taste these lovely yummy chocolates and having people to send them their creations and have them criticize it. i wish i have a job like that. It wouldn't be much a problem for my teeth because fortunately my brother is a dentist. I know eating too much sweets is not good. i know i know! i can hear my mom nagging me again. Anyway... do visit 8chocolate blog. Below are some chocolate images from their website. Bovetti Chocolate Bar From France to match a good chocolatey treat, is a good chocolatey novel from Joanne Harris which I finished reading a month ago.
chocolate dipped coconut macaroons
chocolate and peanut butter! what a perfect tandem

Mother Vs. Daughter
I have posted here before a blog on one of the frequent arguments I have with my mom. These arguments are recurrent and mostly nonsense which really annoys me. I'd like to have my argument with sense please. Anyway, I've been thinking of adding a category on these cases. So this evening:
Mom enters the room. Paused.
Mom: Dai, di kaya ma daot ang bata nag cge ka atubang ana imung laptop?
Translation: isn't it bad for the baby when you're always in front of the laptop?
Me: Sa unsa? Radiation?
Translation: What? You mean the radiation?
Mom: O! cge man ka laptop diha. Pagnga gud na kung naa ka sa katre. Ayaw cge internet internet diha. &**^%$@
Translation: Yes! You're always using the laptop. Don't use it when you're in bed. Stop using the internet. &*(&)))*&%
Me: Ai da. Y namatay cge atubang laptop. (Her well used alibi is finally useful for me.)
Translation: Nobody died for always using the laptop.
Mom: Ai bahala kaaaaaaaa!!!!! Bahala kaaaa!!!!!! bahala kaaa!!!!!!!!!
Translation: (I honestly don't know how to translate this part) It's up to youuuuuuuu! It's up to yoooouuuuu! It's up to yoooouuuuu!
Then out she went storming. 8 minutes later enters Nana.
Nana: Unsa man na Kat? Laptop laptop?
Translation: What's all the fuss about? Laptop? Laptop?
Me: Ai daaaaaaaah...
Translation: aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh
Out Nana went.
Trivia: In the Philippines, we mention the term twice when we don't know what it means or what it is for.
Score:
Mommy: 0 Ka3na: 2

I will do the research tomorrow about this radiation thing. You know, mothers are mostly right. For now need to catch some ZZZzzzzzzz...

Fighting Boredom
Bed rest really sucks for me when I have so many things in my mind to do. But I had to obey doctor's orders for the baby. Anyway, I was browsing through old photos and somehow the memory of some cheered me up a bit. Like this one below,A picture of us on my brother's wedding. The ones encircled are my parents who resembled Imelda and Ferdinand Marcos. These two rarely get along. The house is always filled with their voices especially from my very hostile father.
A really nice photo of my son and husband jumping through the steps.
This was the best fish I ever had since birth. We had this for a meal on our 3rd wedding anniversary at Kawasan Falls. The picture may not say it all but it really was delicious. If only you could see how Ernel and I gorge on to this poor fish. We may be too hungry at that time or it could've been bewitched because it was so delicious it didn't taste like the fishes we've eaten in our lives.
6 more weeks to go... counting...counting...counting...

Vagina Satiated
My silence from posting don't mean anything else except that I was confined in the labor room for three days for having Low Amniotic Fluid due to stress. The whole time I was in that room, I couldn't stop praying to be brought back home. It was an unpleasant experience as an eyewitness of pregnant women in labor, shouting, screaming, with bloody vaginas and butts exposed. Nope, not like the one you see in porn films. IT was weird terrifying seeing all that knowing soon I'll be next after two months. Good Lord help me.
So after 6 liters of D5 lact Ringers 1 Liter Fluids (For Hydration) and drank 4 liters of water, I am finally back. Thank God above all that my Fluids were increased. Thanks to our family and good friends who helped us pray that may the baby be born in time and not prematurely.
God bless you all.
